Germany's Interior Ministry sets out conditions to restrict housing socialisation
GermanyWestern EuropeOn the globe
On 25 October 2026 the Federal Interior Ministry presented key points for an Investment Protection Act. There is no draft bill yet. The Federal Justice Ministry called this constitutionally new territory. Article 15 of the Basic Law, which allows socialisation against compensation, has never been used.
